CROSSING WARDEN

Please can parents ensure that they cross the road with our Warden.  This will reinforce the road safety message to our children and make Bulkington Road much safer for everyone.

CHILDREN'S SAFETY

We have had a call reminding us that parents are on really dodgy ground if they leave their young children in the car whilst dropping off/picking up older brothers or sisters.  There are a large number of dangers in this, from handbrakes being knocked off allowing the car to move, heatstroke, and abduction risk.  This last one has been very real to us here recently.  It has been known for the police and social services to be involved in such cases.  Please don't let this happen to any of our children.

Please note that the dates for our school year can be found on the Calendar page, just follow the link.

Please see our Parent's area for the new uniform order forms this can be filled in and emailed to us.

Breakfast Club

We have spaces.  We open at 8:00am.  There is a minimum cost of £1.00. Each 15 minutes cost 75p, breakfast costs 25p.  Please book at the office if you are new.

Holidays in Term Time

We have come to the attention of the authorities!! Our attendance has fallen through the floor owing to the huge numbers of sickness/holidays going on. For the rest of this year and next we are going to work very hard to get the numbers back up. The Education Social Work Service are inviting us to have a chat about it all and how they would like to help parents. WE HAVE BEEN WARNED.

If you are late please remember to sign in the book.

Internet Safety

As you are all aware this site was built with great care for the children's safety and with this in mind we would ask that you take the time to visit the Chat Danger link that we have added which is one of ChildNet International projects to ensure that children are safe when using any medium of e-communication.

Telephone Us!

If your child is ill and not able to attend school we would appreciate you advising us by telephone on the first day of absence.  The reason for this is that the school has to account to the County Council for all absences as Parents have a legal obligation to send their children to school and therefore have to have a valid reason for all absences.

Contact Details

If you alter your telephone number or postal address would you please be so kind as to let the school secretary know as soon as possible.  It is important that these details are kept current in case we have a need to make contact with you in an emergency.
