School Uniform We like to encourage a feeling of community and identity within our school. For this reason we ask you to send your child to school wearing clothes in these colours:
Please complete the uniform order form and return it to school, this can be emailed.
We ask that all items of your child’s clothing should be clearly marked with his/her name. With everyone having similar clothes this is essential. Will my child need any other clothing? We provide washable aprons but this does not mean that they are foolproof, if you have any concerns about paint etc going onto your child’s clothes, then by all means you are welcome to provide an old shirt or another type of washable apron for art and craft work. Children should be able to dress and undress themselves, although teachers will give help with difficult fastenings etc.
For P.E. lessons children can wear any appropriate T-Shirt and shorts. This is to be left in a small bag in the school cloakroom Monday to Friday. Pumps are not necessary as the children work bare-footed in these lessons. It would also be useful if on P.E. day your children could wear clothes which are easy to remove and put on again. Jewellery cannot be worn in school. If your child has pierced ears, would you please see that small studs are worn. Hooped or dropper ear-rings are a hazard in P.E. or in play, and should not be worn for school. Even necklaces or rings can be dangerous. If there are religious reasons, please speak to school about this so we are informed and can take appropriate action. We have a swap shop in order to try and keep costs down. Those who are leaving can leave behind their old All Saints’ items and these can be passed on at a much lower cost. Please consider leaving your sweatshirt etc. behind. You are, of course, welcome to but your uniform elsewhere without the logo. We do keep a small supply of spare clothing in case of accidents. If your child should need to borrow these, could you please wash and return them to school as quickly as possible? © All Saints C of E Infant School 2005. All rights reserved.
